I sincerely hope that you'll enjoy browsing this page to discover more about what I want to accomplish through my musical life.
Having played for 15 years now through various classical music stages around the world, I'm at a moment of my development when the need for dialoguing with other artistic expression forms is increasing. Of course I'm not meaning to abandon the classical form of the concert! This ritual is one of the basic needs for a musician. And the richness of our musical repertoires is endless! But this solid core can (should?) develop then other artistic branches defining the frame of who we are. Cause isn't it,by fact, the most important thing for an artist to discover his deep identity? Only then wouldn't it be the beginning for him of the most powerful and personal expression? Among my "branches" are teaching, playing in orchestras as a solo cello and chamber music projects such as I conceive with my partner and lifelong friend Dana Ciocarlie (pianist), but also jazz which I share in a privileged way with Vincent Aubague (guitar), creating new concepts of shows with artists such as Jean-Marie Galey (actor), Jacques Puisais (lightening artist), Etienne Yver (painter) and many others, the development of a documentary project with a solid team composed by Arthur Valverde (filmmaker), Baptist Chouquet (sound engineer) and Jean-Yves Soubeyre (author). Today the artist must commit to the act of creation, commissioning regularly new works or refresh continually his understanding of past works. I therefore propose to share with you my experiences, my dreams and my dearest wishes, deeply hoping that it will resonate within each of you and that part of my concerts or of my recordings would once at least "fall into the hollow of your ear".
